AllPoints Fibre is undergoing a change in leadership as Ronan Kelly steps down from the company.

The company said he is leaving to pursue a new opportunity after leading AllPoints Fibre through its successful launch and subsequent growth. He will handover to Mark Walker, who will join the company as CEO from 1st June 2026.

With his extensive telecoms experience, James Hickman is also joining the business as chief technology and information officer from 18th May, AllPoints Fibre.

“I have real confidence in the people taking APFN into this next stage of growth, including the commercialisation of the Aquila platform,” commented Kelly. “The strategy remains unchanged; in a market that requires stability, scale, simplicity and a fibre-first plan, APFN is absolutely the right choice for connectivity service providers.”

He added: “This is something we are all proud of and I want to thank every member of the APFN team for the role they played in getting us here.”

AllPoints Fibre has made strong progress as it has committed to strengthening its position in the wholesale market. Having been founded in 2024 through the consolidation of Giganet, Swish Fibre and Jurassic Fibre, it has quickly developed a strong partner pipeline and prides itself on delivering new capabilities at pace.

The company is known for providing ISPs, resellers and partners with access to a high-capacity network. It partners with infrastructure providers like Openreach and CityFibre to offer connectivity that is scalable and API-driven.

To ensure continuity during the change in leadership, AllPoints Fibre said Nisreen El-kaloush and Nigel Sudell will remain in post as chief commercial officer and chief operating officer respectively, in addition to Adam Dunlop remaining executive chairman.

Once joining the company, Walker will bring with him more than 25 years of experience working across reseller and wholesale channels. This includes building key functions at Virtual1 through to its sale to TalkTalk, before becoming commercial director of TalkTalk’s B2B Wholesale business. He was also founding chief commercial officer at PXC, before joining Fern in 2025 as MD for commercial strategy and performance, where he supported AllPoints Fibre and Vorboss.

Looking ahead, AllPoints Fibre is eager to continue transitioning and accelerate its commercialisation plan. Its leadership shuffle is to ultimately position the company to grow and scale.

Speaking on his appointment, incoming CEO Walker said: “I’m excited to be joining APFN at this pivotal point in its journey. I’d like to thank Ronan and his team for their stewardship of APFN to date; the platform is seriously impressive, delivering a fibre-first, legacy- free choice to partners across multiple networks.

He added: “The opportunity ahead is significant. I am looking forward to working with the new leadership team and taking APFN through its next phase of growth.”
