CMC Networks taps AVANT to scale AI-powered African connectivity across EMEA

CMC Networks has struck a partnership with IT decision-making platform and technology distributor AVANT Communications to help enterprises expand connectivity across EMEA.

The agreement gives AVANT’s global network of Trusted Advisors streamlined access to CMC’s AI-powered network infrastructure, which spans local operations across 64 markets in the Middle East and Africa.

Enterprise customers can tap into CMC’s pan-regional coverage, underpinned by Africa’s first AI-enabled core to improve service resiliency and simplify regional expansion.

Central to the deal is CMC’s AIOps capability, which provides real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, service delivery automation, and faster fault resolution. The company says its adoption of AIOps has already reduced mean time to repair (MTTR) for customers by more than 40%.

Rob Merhej, VP of EMEA sales at AVANT said the partnership reinforces the company’s ability to meet growing customer demand across the region. “This further strengthens our ability to meet customer demand across EMEA and reinforces our commitment to helping Trusted Advisors provide the most advanced and customer-centric technology solutions in the market.”

Mahesh Jaishankar, managing director at CMC Networks, said the tie-up addresses a persistent challenge for global enterprises. “Global enterprises are expanding into African and Middle Eastern growth markets, but they often face fragmented infrastructure, limited local support, and unpredictable service quality.”

CMC Networks brings more than 35 years of regional experience, offering services including DIA, MPLS, SD-WAN, Ethernet, Satellite and IaaS, backed by round-the-clock customer support.
