Colt appoints ex-Amazon & Yondr execs to drive growth

Colt Data Centre Services (Colt DCS) has appointed two senior directors to support “its rapid growth and drive the execution of hyperscale projects”.

As a result, the company has appointed David Hyatt as its new senior director of development and delivery for the UK and Europe, having spent over 15 years in the hyperscale data centre industry.

In his new position, he will lead strategy and execution across site, development, design, commercial and delivery for the UK and Europe regions.

He has also held senior roles at Iron Mountain Data Centres, Yondr and ISG.

Meanwhile, the company also appointed Florian Hoyndorf as its new global senior director of commercial investment & asset strategy.

He has over 25 years of experience in the industry, having held senior positions at prominent companies such as Cromwell Property Group, Logista, Amazon and Aldi as well as co-leading his own investment and development company.

At Colt, he will help shape the corporate development and asset strategy roadmap, the company revealed.
