In the newly created role, Scattareggia will lead Colt’s Infrastructure and Connectivity Sales team, overseeing a combined organisation that brings together Strategic Alliances and Global Content Networks functions. He will be based in New York and report directly to Colt’s CEO, Keri Gilder.
Colt said the appointment is designed to help it capitalise on growth opportunities driven by digital transformation and AI-related demand, particularly within connectivity markets that underpin cloud, hybrid and AI-driven workloads.
Before moving to Colt, Scattareggia most recently led the Wholesale business at Windstream/Uniti Wholesale (now Windstream Wholesale), where he served as president and played a key role in serving wholesale and hyperscaler segments.
His experience at Windstream includes senior leadership across multiple network and transport initiatives. In previous years he was central to efforts such as advancing high-capacity wave and Ethernet services and partnering with other network operators on cutting-edge connectivity trials.
The appointment comes alongside another senior sales hire at Colt, Laura Farina, who has been named EVP of enterprise sales, as the company realigns its global sales organisation into two focused business units.
