Announcing the deal at Metro Connect USA 2026, the combined company will deliver software-defined performance and network intelligence across hybrid networks, supporting fibre, broadband, LTE/5G and LEO satellite networks.

The merged company will operate under the Contrivian name, with Big Network’s multi-WAN and edge connectivity technology added to Contrivian’s Lighthouse platform.

Lighthouse monitors real network conditions and selects the best available paths to ensure applications run smoothly.

By integrating Big Network’s Ethernet transport-layer technology, Contrivian will improve traffic control at the edge, strengthen failover, and increase resilience across various connection types.
