Extreme Networks has debuted its Multi-Beam Wireless technology at the new Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, marking the first deployment of what the vendor describes as a hyper-directional antenna solution for Wifi.

The installation, delivered in partnership with the Tennessee Titans NFL franchise, combines MatSing antenna technology with Extreme’s Wifi 7 access points to deliver targeted, high-capacity coverage across a 60,000-seat venue, designed to handle tens of thousands of concurrent connections without degradation.

The network supports frictionless retail, real-time social sharing, and mobile streaming across the stadium, underpinned by Extreme’s Network Fabric for self-healing rerouting and automated scaling, and managed through its Platform ONE interface for unified visibility and AI-driven analytics.

The venue use case is an increasingly critical proving ground for dense wireless deployments, with stadiums, airports, and large public venues placing growing demand on next-generation Wifi infrastructure.

Extreme currently powers connectivity for 12 NFL teams, with 30 clubs using its ExtremeCloud Business Insights platform to convert Wifi data into fan behaviour and operational analytics.
