Foxconn said its strong results are driven by continued strong demand for AI products, jumping 22% from the same quarter last year to T$2.6028 trillion (US$82.73 billion).

The world-leading electronics maker reported that revenue for the quarter grew significantly on both a quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year basis, exceeding expectations.

Foxconn said fourth-quarter revenue rose 26.4% on a US dollar basis, with growth driven by strong performance in its cloud and networking products division. This was led by booming demand for AI products, with the company witnessing a slight revenue decline in its smart consumer electronics segment.

Foxconn said the results exceeded the T$2.418 trillion LSEG SmartEstimate and credits continued strong demand for AI products as the reason for its success. The Taiwan-headquartered company remains Nvidia and Apple’s largest server maker.

In December 2025 alone, Foxconn posted revenue of T$862.86 billion ($27.42 billion), demonstrating a 31.77% annual increase and a record for that month. In line with the broader market in Taiwan, Foxconn shares rose 25.3% last year.

Information and communications technology (ICT) products have entered a seasonal slowdown, Foxconn said via a statement, but expects robust demand for AI server rack products to bring high performance moving forward.

Foxconn expects to have a strong year in 2026. The company has made significant progress in the world of AI and consumer electronics, having collaborated with major customers and expanded into more diverse AI solutions.

Notably in November 2025, the company partnered with OpenAI on the design and future production of next-generation AI data centre hardware. OpenAI is expected to provide Foxconn with insight into the hardware requirements of current and upcoming AI models.

Foxconn will focus on the engineering side and prepare its US facilities for potential manufacturing.

Speaking at the time, Foxconn chairman Young Liu said: “As the world’s largest manufacturer of AI data servers, Foxconn is uniquely positioned to support OpenAI’s mission with trusted, scalable infrastructure that accelerates innovation and broadens access to transformative AI capabilities for businesses and users worldwide.”
