GlobalConnect has appointed Kim Bybjerg as senior vice president, enterprise sales, as it steps up its focus on large business customers across the Nordic region.

Bybjerg took up the role at the end of last year and will lead GlobalConnect’s enterprise sales strategy at a time of growing demand for secure, resilient and scalable connectivity.

Large enterprises in the Nordics are facing mounting pressure as digitalisation accelerates, cloud adoption deepens and regulatory requirements tighten. Against this backdrop, GlobalConnect views the strengthening of its enterprise organisation as a strategic priority, aimed at supporting customers with business-critical connectivity and security solutions.

Bybjerg joins GlobalConnect from Tata Communications, where he most recently served as Vice President Sales and Head of Continental Europe. He brings extensive international experience from senior roles at Orange Business, as well as Vodafone and KPN, where he built and led Internet of Things (IoT) businesses supporting large enterprises through complex digital transformation programmes.

“Kim brings a strong combination of commercial leadership and deep understanding of how large organisations develop their digital infrastructure in line with increasing business demands. His experience will be central as we continue to grow with our largest customers and position GlobalConnect as a long-term strategic partner for business-critical connectivity and security,” says Anna Granö, EVP B2B at GlobalConnect.

Throughout his career, Bybjerg has worked closely with enterprise customers across Europe to improve resilience and strengthen core operations.

“My ambition is to work closely with customers and colleagues to accelerate growth in the enterprise segment, building on the strong foundation GlobalConnect already has. By combining a clear operating model, strong collaboration and a sharp focus on customer value, we have a great opportunity to further strengthen our position in the Nordic market,” he says.
