The AI Studio will be located at Deloitte’s London campus and represents a significant expansion of its AI-led solutions for UK businesses. Alongside Google Cloud’s expertise, the studio is expected to help British organisations move beyond the experimentation phase of AI to deploy autonomous, action-oriented AI systems at scale.

Speaking at the Google Cloud London Summit today, Deloitte UK’s chief AI officer, Hayley McKelvey, said: “Our clients are looking for more than just productivity gains – they want AI that can take action and drive real-world business outcomes.

“With our new AI Studio and the continued investment in our people, we are providing the physical and technical infrastructure necessary to make agentic AI an industrial reality in the UK. This is about moving from curiosity to a new era of autonomous business operations.”

At the centre of the investment, the Deloitte AI Studio is expected to serve as a co-innovation hub where Deloitte leaders and clients will build and deploy production-ready agentic solutions. It is expected to open in late July and will first focus on transitioning sectors, including the public sector, financial services, retail, healthcare and technology, media and telecommunications (TMT).

Specifically in healthcare and TMT sectors, the studio is expected to focus on how agentic AI can transform traditional business models and daily workflows.

The investment is further building on Google Cloud and Deloitte’s existing partnership, with Deloitte also announcing an upskilling initiative to train 1,000 members of its UK AI and data workforce on Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise. The goal is to provide its UK clients with one of the largest AI talent tools in the region.

“We are witnessing British organisations move their AI initiatives into production, building a new era of agentic AI that delivers tangible value,” said Maureen Costello, VP UK, Ireland and Sub-Saharan Africa at Google Cloud. “By launching this AI Studio and putting these advanced tools into the hands of 1,000 Deloitte specialists, Deloitte is ensuring that the UK remains at the heart of this technological journey.”

The new studio will host regular innovation labs, enabling clients across all industries to prototype and validate agentic solutions in as little as four weeks, thereby significantly reducing time-to-market for complex AI deployments.

“Our investment with Google Cloud in our latest AI studio in London represents a further expansion of our alliance with Google,” added Matt Lacey, global chief commercial officer for Alphabet Google at Deloitte. “Together, we will bring AI technology to life for a cross-section of industries in a physical setting that facilitates experimentation, collaboration and innovation, complementing our existing Experience Centres in Egypt and India.”

The news comes as Google Cloud commits itself towards achieving the “agentic telco” – AI agents operating behind the scenes to provide greater efficiency across a business. Speaking with Capacity at MWC Barcelona earlier this year, the global head of industry – telecom, Angelo Libertucci, explained how 2026 is the new era for AI integration in this way.

“Consumers want experiences that are human-like, instantaneous, frictionless and tailored,” he said. “With the work we’re doing to build what we call the proactive loyalty engine, they’re achieving strong results.”

With the belief that the pilot phase of AI is over, Google Cloud this year also launched two new TPUs to keep pace with the future of enterprise AI. Speaking at Google Cloud Next, CEO Thomas Kurian also described the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform as an end-to-end system for the agentic era.

“Built on top of our leading infrastructure, and deeply integrated with our data and security capabilities, it is the foundation for the Agentic Enterprise,” he explained. “We are announcing everything you need to make your organisation an Agentic Enterprise – anchored by a unified stack designed to turn intelligence into a growth engine for your business.”
