Connectis Tower, Europe’s youngest towerco, has announced it has bought 50 sites in Serbia from Dot Towers, the subsidiary of local engineering consultancy and MSP Dot Networks.

The additional 50 new sites include 12 ground-based macro towers and 38 rooftop structures, primarily in prime central locations across Belgrade as well as in other cities in Serbia. No financial details have been disclosed.

The move is in line with Connectis Tower’s strategy. Its owner Actis (through a consortium) has mentioned previously expansion plans under the Connectis Tower brand. The acquisition adds new types of structures to Connectis Tower’s existing portfolio comprising only macro towers that were carved out from Telekom Srbija’s assets across Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

Who is Dot Networks

Dot Networks, based in Serbia, has been active in Serbia and internationally since 2008 providing consulting and engineering services from construction and maintenance of mobile base stations to design and roll-out of fibre networks.

It acquired Konsing Towers ( a subsidiary of local engineering company and MSP Konsing Group) in late 2021 and the assets became part of Roaming Networks at the time. They were rebranded to Dot Towers in April 2024. At the same time Roaming Networks also rebranded to Dot Networks. The move was following an acquisition by the Manex Group of companies.
