Orange Wholesale International names Valérie Cussac as new CEO

Orange Wholesale International has named Valérie Cussac as its new CEO, Capacity has learned.

Cussac, who has over 15 years of experience at the telecoms giant, succeeds Emmanuel Rochas ,who will assume his new role as CEO of Orange’s TowerCo subsidiary, TOTEM, starting 1 June 2025.

Cussac will begin her new role on 1 August 2025 and report to Michaël Trabbia, EVP and CEO of Orange Wholesale.

In the interim, Franck Morales, SVP marketing and business development, will serve as acting CEO from 1 June to 31 July, 2025.

In her role as CEO, she will lead the global team to maintain profitability and advance innovative products (such as 5G Core Network as a Service) to meet changing market needs. She will also lead international infrastructure projects.

She currently holds the position of EVP of transformation and operational excellence at Orange Cyberdefense, a role she has held for just over a year.

Before this she was EVP of smart mobility services, SVP of Orange’s business mobile unit and VP of B2B mobile marketing, respectively.

Cussac said: ‘ “I’m honoured to take on the role of CEO at Orange Wholesale International at such a pivotal time – both for the industry and our organization. Given the rapid pace of change across our markets, my priority is to accelerate the development of our portfolio’s most promising growth drivers, such as CDN, Network as a Service (NaaS), 5G SA roaming, and satellite solutions.

‘These will be key to meeting market demands and driving commercial success. Advancing the digitalisation of our services, leveraging AI, and delivering key infrastructure projects will also be a central focus. I look forward to working alongside our talented teams and trusted partners, as we strengthen our global position and create long-term value for the group.”
