The move aims to expand the company’s regional operations, accelerate AI adoption, and develop local digital talent as part of its broader global growth strategy.
The investment includes the opening of a new five-storey office in Mexico City’s Polanco district, which will accommodate up to 2,000 employees.
The site will serve as a regional hub for Salesforce’s operations across Latin America, supporting customers in areas such as AI-driven business transformation and cloud services.
A key component of the expansion is the launch of a Global Delivery Center (GDC), designed to provide multilingual consulting and technical support across the Americas. The GDC will operate in English, Spanish and Portuguese, strengthening Salesforce’s service capability for regional and international clients.
In addition to expanding infrastructure, Salesforce will channel funds into AI skills development. The company will invest $250,000 in the non-profit Amigos de Filantrofilia, supporting an initiative to train around 100,000 students in digital and AI competencies.
The goal is to cultivate a new generation of tech professionals in Mexico, aligning with national ambitions to become a regional AI and technology hub.
Salesforce already counts major Mexican enterprises such as Xcaret, Grupo Bafar, and FEMSA among its customers, alongside an ecosystem of nearly 1,000 local partners and resellers. The new investment is expected to deepen these relationships while creating hundreds of new jobs across the company’s ecosystem.
