Salesforce has named Zahra Bahrololoumi CBE as its new president & CEO of Salesforce UK & Ireland.

Bahrololoumi moves from her previous role as executive vice president and CEO at the technology giant, a position she held for five years.
Prior to joining Salesforce, she spent over two decades at Accenture, advancing to the role of technology lead for the UK and Ireland, a position she held for four years.
In a LinkedIn post, Bahrololoumi noted: “As my responsibilities expand to our Global Private Equity & VC Practice, it’s my privilege to continue leading our forward-thinking UK & Ireland team. Their resilience and ability to remain creative in a fast-moving market are what make our operation world-class.
“In this role, I will continue to drive our $6 billion investment through 2030 in the UK market. This commitment is central to how we support our customers as they transition into the next era of business and move beyond AI experimentation to the reality of the Agentic Enterprise.”
Bahrololoumi’s promotion comes as Salesforce quietly eliminated around 1,000 positions this month.
The cuts are said to have impacted staff in marketing, product management, data analytics and the firm’s Agentforce AI product unit, despite comments made by Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff claiming AI can’t replace humans.
