In his new role, Nikles will lead the telecom giant’s operations in America by increasing the company’s focus in the region.

Nikles joins Vodafone IoT after spending eight years at Deutsche Telekom IoT, starting as its head of IoT global sales and commercials, before being promoted to CEO, a role he held for over four years.

He has also held senior positions including VP of solutions and projects at T-Systems International GmbH, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom.

Commenting on his new role, Nikles, said: “I am excited to join Vodafone IoT at such a pivotal moment for the industry. IoT is no longer just about connecting devices – it is about enabling businesses to be more competitive, innovative and sustainable.
